R.O.O.T.S. PROGRAM
Welcome to R.O.O.T.S. Brought To You By Collectively Sustainable

Build More Than a Garden - Grow a Movement
ROOTS is not just a program—it's a grassroots
REVOLUTION in food sovereignty. Designed by and for the community, ROOTS offers an in-house grant to help individuals, families, and neighborhoods across Atlanta create sustainable 10x10 food production plots with the tools, training, and support needed to thrive.
Whether you're new to gardening or a seasoned grower, ROOTS empowers you to grow food with purpose, connect with neighbors, and join a movement that believes mutual aid is the foundation of resilience.
What You Receive
- A 10x10 in-ground food production system
- Soil³ compost (27 cu. ft.), plants, and seeds
- Full installation support
- Hands-on education & training throughout the growing season
- Placement in a supportive cohort near a “Lighthouse” (hub for learning and mutual aid)
- Access to a community of growers, stewards, and changemakers
Sliding Scale Investment
We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table - and a garden in their yard.
Choose your level of participation based on your capacity:
- Tier 1: $1,250 – Pay it forward and help fund another family’s garden
- Tier 2: $450 – Pay for your materials (Soil³ compost + supplies)
- Tier 3: $0 – Full scholarship supported by community contributions
No matter your tier, you’ll receive the
same quality of support, love, and education.
